Indoor .22lr

Indoor .22lr starts on the 2nd Friday in January every year and runs until late April. Matches are held on Friday and Saturday nights from 7p.m. to 9p.m..

The league will start with pistol matches for the first 7 weeks. To complete the league and get an official score, you must post 6 (six) match scores. The cost to play is $5 for your signup and first "practice" match. after that, you will shoot 6 scoring matches at $3 each (targets included). There is no schedule on when you need to shoot the matches. You could come out and shoot one per weekend, or, if you're fast enough, you may be able to fit them all in in one weekend (time allowing) or anywhere in between. After your practice round, finishing your 6 scoring matches will give you an official league score. You DO NOT need to participate in all 7 matches, if you want to come out and just shoot one or 2, you are welcome to. If you come out and try a match, there is no obligation to finish your season. We strive to have a very low pressure, fun environment. You DO NOT need to be a member to participate, just come out and enjoy yourself, and feel free to bring a friend.

The course of fire for a pistol match will be:
1st string, slow fire. 10 rounds in 10 minutes firing from the dominant hand only.
2nd and 3rd strings, timed fire. 5 rounds in 20 seconds, freestyle.
4th and 5th strings, rapid fire. 5 rounds in 10 seconds, freestyle.
All strings will be shot at 50ft for a total round count of 30 shots. All shots are from the standing position.

Immediately following the end of the pistol league, rifle league will then commence for the next 7 weeks (with one week off in the mix when the range is occupied). The Rifle league follows the same structure as the pistol league above, with the only exception being the COF.

The COF for a rifle match will be:
1st string, 10 rounds in 10 ,minutes from the prone position.
2nd string, 10 rounds in 10 minutes from the seated position.
3rd string, 10 rounds in 10 minutes from the kneeling position.
4th string, 10 rounds in 10 minutes from the standing position.
All strings will be shot at 50ft for a total round count of 40 shots.

We want to see people getting out and shooting. If you have a disability and are worried about being physically able to compete in all of the positions, accommodations can be made. We don't want excuses, we want to see you getting out and having some fun with like minded people. For more information contact Sean Zanella 570-274-2367 or Mike Yasenchak 570-274-7873, or message us through the facebook page.

Finally, being that these shoots happen in the winter, and we are in Pennsylvania, there may be some postponements and cancellations along the way. The best way to keep abreast on the current status of the shoots and any last minute cancellations, keep an on on our facebook page.
